Dr. James S. Perry
Dr. Perry is a native of Shakopee where his father, Wallace, had a barber shop for nearly 50 years. After graduating from the University of Minnesota Dental School in 1971, he went on to complete a residency with the  Veteran's Administration Hospital in San Francisco, California. He worked for the VA hospital for three years while planning his future practice in Shakopee. Dr. Perry is continually improving his dental skills and learning new techniques. He attends hundreds of hours of additional education each year achieving his Mastership Certification in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2003. He is also a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. In his practice, he particularly enjoys working with children, performing cosmetic dentistry and dental implant prosthetics. He and his wife, Cindy, have two children, a son, Josh and his wife, Heide, and a daughter, Amber and her husband, Benny, and four grandchildren. Cindy has a busy art studio in Jordan. Dr. Perry's hobbies include reading, physical conditioning, golf, spending time with his grandchildren and yardwork.
